1993 Corvette 40th
Anniversary ZR-1.
32,100 miles
This is the Heart of the Beast. One of 245 built by
the Corvette Plant, and one of 240 sold to the general public.
Five were kept back by Chevrolet for R&D and display.
The ZR-1 is absolutely original in every detail. Every document
that came with this car when it was delivered in Palo Alto, California,
is present. Included are the original window sticker, and a
laminated copy of the build sheet provided by the National Corvette
Museum.
This ZR-1 has been judged by NCRS five different times, between 2007
and 2009. The car has received four Top Flight awards (Chapter,
Two Regionals, and a 2008 Performance Verification Award). In
July 2009, at the San Jose NCRS National Convention, this ZR-1 received
a Dave Hill Mark of Excellence Award, (one of only two given as of this
date) receiving 100 points.
I am the second owner of this ZR-1. This Corvette was one of 31
sold in the State of California, and has every option available.
I have the original tires, which are bagged and stored. The only
non-original item in the car is the battery, which is an A/C Delco
replacement. I have the original air cleaner element, 3 PF97OC
back oil filter, and the air pump filter. I also have a Doug
Rippy performance chip, and a Borla Cat Back complete exhaust
system. These items will be sold with the ZR-1.
This Ruby ZR-1 is one of the most correct, #1 Corvettes in the U.S.
The beauty of this Corvette is, I drove it to every NCRS judging event
where it was presented.
