1959 Corvette
VIN J59S105260. NOM 327/350 HP
engine. The previous owner had it rebuilt by a Corvette shop 1999
with receipts. Casting # 3782870. Dated in 1965.
Heads 3782461, 327 camel hump fuel injected, with the same casting
dates as the engine block within a few days. Front pad suffix # appears
to be HG. I believe that the engine is out of a 1965 Corvette
fullie, but I cannot verify this. 4spd transmission with hurst high
performance shifter. Runs and drives excellent.
We sold this car about 18-months ago.
The buyer drove the car on a 350 mile trip back home to Northern
California. To our knowledge, the car has always been a CA
car. We just purchased the car back and are now offering it for
sale. The previous buyer loved the car, but is now looking at
C2's.
The paint is Tuxedo Black with silver
coves. Nice driver quality with some minor imperfections and
touch-ups, but is still shiny and looks great. The chrome is also
in nice condition. Excellent rust free CA frame.
The interior is red and shows nicely.
It was replaced about 12-years ago and looks remarkably nice for its
age. Nice door panels and door panel trim. Nice carpet and
dash. Excellent steering wheel with no cracks. The seat are
nice with the exception of one 2" stitch seam split on the drivers
bottom cushion. After market Corvette radio/cassette.
Factory gauges. White convertible soft top. No hard top.
