1968 Corvette L89 Convertible

VIN 196678S404638. Matching # rebuilt 427/435 HP aluminum head engine. 3 Date J177. Aluminum heads numbered, 3919842. Correct tri-power carbs. and intake manifold. Correct 4-spd close ratio transmission with the VIN stamped on it. Rear end code, FA11767. Heavy duty positraction 427 with 3.70:1 gears. Rebuilt engine with 420 cam and roller rockers. Rebuilt carbs., new battery, re-cored radiator, new brake calipers front and rear, new front upper and lower and rear polly urethane suspension bushings, new power steering pump, new power steering valve and ram, new exhaust front to back, new braided wires with correct upper and lower shielding, new BF Goodrich radial TA tires, and all the vacuum is in working order. Tank sticker. Super fast, runs & drives excellent!

Paint code 975, Le Mans Blue, which is in nice condition. Paint is about 8-years old and is 2-stage color sanded and buffed.  Straight body. The weather stripping was replaced when the car was painted and is in very good condition. The bumpers were also re-chomed when the car was painted and are in driver condition. Rust free CA frame.

Standard black interior which is in very nice condition. The seats have been upgraded to leather and are in very nice condition. New door panels. Very nice original dash with no cracks. Nice carpet.  New black convertible soft top with new top weather stripping. Correct lock out shifter. Nice steering wheel with no cracks. The gauges are in working order. It has an after market radio.

This is a very rare limited production, only 624 produced in 1968.
