1962 Corvette
Fuel injection project car. Last registered in 1982. Original California black plates. Ex drag racer.
Matching #'s 327/360 horse power fuel injection engine. Casting # 378 2870, date E 232, engine pad # 2112474 F0531RF. 4-spd stick transmission. Pontiac rear end, set up for drag racing, (do have a corvette rear end to go with the car.) This car does not have the fuel injection, correct distributor, or air cleaner. It has a dual carb. set-up. A rebuilt fuel injection system, with air cleaner and distributor can be purchased for an additional $5,500. Mechanically, this car has been setup for 1/4 mile racing. No fan shroud or fan blade and no front sway bar. The battery is mounted in the trunk. It has the original fuelie inner fender air cleaner mounting bracket.
Older Roman Red paint, which is the original color for the car. The body is exceptional. One of the best you'll ever see! It has a small modification of 3-tail lights. The frame is also excellent. X member still intact. The red interior is original. The seats are in good condition with only one small rip on the passenger seat seam. The door panels are original and in good shape. Nice original sunvisors. The dash pad has cracks. The carpet should be replaced. Original gauges which are in very nice condition. Correct 6500 Red Line Fuelie Tach. The wonder bar radio is in excellent condition. Hard-top only car. The headliner is in excellent shape. Both side windows are crazed. Wood grain steering wheel.
This would be an excellent candidate for a full frame-off restoration. No Disappointments!
