1969
CHEVROLET CAMARO
It has a 427, 4 bolt main #321
casted block built in 1968 with a 425hp solid lift engine suffix code
on the block. The engine was torn down and found to be std bore
and
crank in good condition so it was freshened and put back into to
service. The trans is a 1969 Turbo 400 that was also
rebuilt. It has
a rare colum shift. It has a 12 bolt posi rearend with 3:55
gears.
Great for the freeway. It is the original color LeMans Blue with
blue
std interior. The paint is awesome and the stripes were hand
painted
before being clear coated, they are not stickers. The hood is GM
and
functional. This car was done top to bottom and is just as nice
underneath. It has been driven 1000 miles since its completion in
April of 03. It was entered at Pomona in the 03 Super Chevy show
and
took 1st place in the 1969 Camaro class, as well as being an editor's
choice. It is very correct under the hood and you cannot
tell this car
apart from a Copo car. There was over 50k spent on this
car. It is a Norwood X44 car on the trim tag.
